At Josie’s Daycare, we nurture a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Through bilingual learning in English and Spanish, we empower children to explore language and culture with confidence.
Our foundation encourages children to acknowledge what makes each one of us special, celebrating each child’s unique personality while promoting empathy, equality, and a sense of belonging for all.
Josie’s Daycare operates weekdays, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Spanish immersion program.
Hi, I’m Josie Aguilar.
Growing up in Truckee, I spent countless joyful hours helping at my grandmother’s preschool; where I discovered my love for working with young children. That early experience shaped my dream of creating a space where kids feel safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
As a recent high school graduate and a current college student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, I bring fresh energy, bilingual learning, and big-hearted care to every child who walks through our doors. I am certified in pediatric CPR and first aid, and I’ve also completed sufficient hands-on training through Emergency Medical Response(EMR) and Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) courses, so families can feel confident that their children are in safe and capable hands.
